Final quotation: "Life is like a camera. Focus on whats important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, take another shot"

Expressive typography Research:
When picking my quotation I wanted to ensure that I had a variety of words within the quote that I could convey through expressive type and graphics. From my research, I looked at how expressive type could be portrayed when linking to the meaning of the word. When looking at the word 'vibrate' it has a similar style to how i would present the word 'focus'. The first appearance of the word focus would appeared blurred and then gradually come together clear. Also, how the word 'dieting' starts bold and gradually changes, this makes 'diet' bold and clear, which links to the word 'important' in my quotation.
Key words which could be portrayed expressively:
- Camera - Graphical image of a camera, Diegetic sound of a camera when taking a picture, Flash to change from the word or background colour.
- Focus - Could appear blurred and then gradually become clearer, blurred background and focused on the word, spotlight on the word, different colour, magnifying glass.
- Important - Bold typeface which stands out against the background (maybe red).
- Capture/ Shot - Similar to 'camera'.
- Good - Happy typeface and colour, linking to the audio.
- Times - Clock
- Negative / Don't - Bold or aggressive typeface.
