During my production I originally planned to follow my storyboard and digital layout designs. However, during production I realised some of my original plans were unrealistic and didn't work as well as I previously thought.
When playing back the voice recording whilst trying to fit the text into the correct timing, I realised it was too fast for the designs I had planned. Therefore, my final outcome differs from the storyboards I have created.
However, I did take aspects from my storyboards but developed them to make them suitable for my sound recording. The typefaces I originally planned on using changed but had similar aspects. For example: The typewriter style and cursive fonts.
When adding movement and effects into my designs this also contributed to the change within my designs. For example: I originally planned to use 3 variety of sizes when presenting the word 'Focus' - However, once I experimented with the software I discovered I could physically blur the word and bring it back into focus using effects and key frames.

When it came to my storyboards I initially wanted to follow the second image. However, I realised my voice over was fairly fast and didn't have enough time to be effective. Therefore I decided to give the camera a separate page allowing the flash to be more effective. I also changed the typefaces and added colour as the black and white lacked interest and looked quite basic once I had created it.
When producing the next scene, I wanted to use the same typeface and colour scheme as the previous. However, this meant I had to slightly differ from my storyboard designs. I used a cursive font for 'good' the same as my storyboards as I felt this was appropriate however I changed the colour as it didn't fit in with my colour scheme. I also decided against using the balloons as when entering them around the text it differed from the art design.
This storyboard was changed the most due to the art design. I used a similar font for 'negatives' as I felt it was suitable and looked effective. I wanted each small section to consist of the same art design and simplicity so it didn't differ and not flow well. I also made the shade of red slightly different to suit my colour scheme more.
When I entered the software I was aware I could make the focus appear blurred and gradually come into focus. Therefore, I changed my design completely. Once again, I wanted the designs to flow therefore I had to change the colours to flow correctly once played as a sequence.
I originally planned this section to consist of multiple different scenes. However, when I put them idea's against the speed of my narrator I discovered that it was too fast to be able to change so quickly onto fresh backgrounds. Therefore, I decided to use a continuous theme of my previous scenes and inject the same typefaces and similar colour scheme.
I kept this scene fairly similar to my storyboard design. The typeface slightly changed so that it was a continuous theme throughout each scene. However, 'another' changed as I didn't have enough time to introduce 5 words in the space of time in which my narrator said the word. I am still going to keep the aspect of the words coming down from above, however it will just be the one word with each letter appearing.
I had produced a camera on After Effects and added a camera flash onto it. However, when i connected all my scenes together it didn't fit effectively and suit the rest of the sequence. On its own, the design looks effective and work well as the flash blends out into a clear white screen ready for the next scene. But when put into the final sequence, it looks odd as it is the only graphic in the sequence. Therefore, I decided to change this scene and include it into the first section as it flowed better.
