The main throughout my project was 'No Type' from www.dafont.com. I chose this font to use throughout the whole project because it was simple yet still looked modern and fitted my chosen theme. It also doesn't show emotion to basic words that don't need it. I wanted to keep the main focus on words such as 'Negative' and 'Good' whilst experimenting with different type.
I used a cursive and feminine type called 'Hand' from www.dafont.com as it represents handwriting and could be quite personal. I wanted to use a cursive font as it portrays a happier message rather than if I was to use a block and bold text. Once in the final sequence, it also holds a strong contrast against the other type surrounding which reflects the positivity of the word.
To represent a negative and angry word I wanted to use a strong and dominant typeface. I used 'DK Face your fears' from www.dafont.com to present the feelings through type. As I had to previously use a handwriting style font I wanted to continue this but I also wanted to reflect the word. Therefore, I chose an handwritten font which looks like it has been rushed and done with paint. The colour also plays a strong part in reflecting the feelings of the word alongside the chosen type.
The word important I felt should hold a strong and dominant font, therefore I decided to use 'Tiza' from www.dafont.com. Against the main type 'No Type' used around this word, it stands out and is the main focus of the scene; I feel this represents the importance of the word.
